Existence of Multistring Solutions of the Self-Gravitating Massive W−Boson

چکیده
We consider a semilinear elliptic system which include the model system of the W−strings in the cosmology as a special case. We prove existence of multi-string solutions and obtain precise asymptotic decay estimates near infinity for the solutions. As a special case of this result we solve an open problem posed in [13]

The existence of a new massive charged gauge boson, known as W’, is proposed by many new physics scenarios. When W’ decays to tb, the final state is very similar to the final state of the s-channel single top production, where W boson is the off-shell mediator to produce the top and bottom quarks. If W’ exists, it can affect the cross section of the SM s-channel single top production, so measur...
متن کاملOn Local Existence of Solutions of the Free Boundary Problem for an Incompressible Viscous Self-gravitating Fluid Motion
The local-in-time existence of solutions of the free boundary problem for an incompressible viscous self-gravitating fluid motion is proved. We show the existence of solutions with lowest possible regularity for this problem such that u ∈W 2,1 r (Ω̃ T ) with r > 3. The existence is proved by the method of successive approximations where the solvability of the Cauchy– Neumann problem for the Stok...
متن کاملSymmetry breaking in (gravitating) scalar field models describing interacting boson stars and Q-balls
We investigate the properties of interacting Q-balls and boson stars that sit on top of each other in great detail. The model that describes these solutions is essentially a (gravitating) two-scalar field model where both scalar fields are complex. We construct interacting Qballs or boson stars with arbitrarily small charges but finite mass. We observe that in the interacting case – where the i...
متن کاملBoson Stars with Large Self-interaction in (2+1) dimensions: an Exact Solution
An exact solution for a nonrotating boson star in (2+1) dimensional gravity with a negative cosmological constant is found. The relations among mass, particle number, and radius of the (2 + 1) dimensional boson star are shown. متن کاملLocal stability criterion for self-gravitating disks in modified gravity
We study local stability of self-gravitating fluid and stellar disk in the context of modified gravity theories which predict a Yukawa-like term in the gravitational potential of a point mass. We investigate the effect of such a Yukawa-like term on the dynamics of self-gravitating disks. More specifically, we investigate the consequences of the presence of this term for the local stability of t...
